2012 Royal Ambassadors
The Celebrate West St Paul Royal Ambassadors Family has been in existence for over a decade. The Ambassadors are chosen following a month long candidacy of interviews, community service events, and participation at the Celebrate West St Paul May events. Candidates are selected as members of the Royal Family based on communication skills, volunteering and service efforts, desire to further their education, and leadership abilities. Once a member of this family, these five young women will spend a year together bonding and becoming both lifelong friends and extended “family.” Throughout the year, the Ambassadors travel around the state representing the city and organization. They spend their time volunteering for the community at various functions, such as visiting the residents at Senior Living facilities, assisting with the Optimist Club annual spelling bee, and participating in Library Days at the Wentworth Public Library where they serve as role models for the youth of our community. In addition to volunteering, these ambassadors spend the year attending festivals in surrounding cities and spreading the joy and spirit of the beautiful city they represent. The Royal Ambassadors represent the community a minimum of fifty times through their annual reign. |
